Character Appearance: Sylas has medium-length black hair, and has deep violet eyes. His overall appearance is lanky and thin, and his skin is pale. He is often seen wearing an extra-large, hoodless sweater with a skull logo on the front. Beneath this is a black and red striped t-shirt. He also wears two wristbands.
Character Personality: Sylas is the quiet, artistic type. He likes his privacy, and will always prefer to be alone rather than be in the spotlight. He rarely wastes words, only saying what needs to be said and nothing more. He is also rather sarcastic and mellow, at times. However, he can be friendly and upbeat when in a good mood, and can tolerate attention at fixed intervals.
Character History: Sylas Auburn II was born the youngest of three, all of them sons of the proud and wealthy Auburn family. Immediately from birth, Sylas was the favorite of his father, Sylas Auburn I, who showered him with more gifts, praise, and attention than either of his other two sons. Sylas's brothers, Orrin and Miles, took notice of this, and grew terribly jealous of their father's favoritism of Sylas over them. Over the years, their jealousy grew into hatred, and finally, they decided they had enough.
On Sylas's 19th birthday, his father decided to present him with something he had always wanted: a Pokemon. Originally, Sylas's father had sworn never to allow Sylas to own a Pokemon, believing them to be too dangerous and unwilling to put his son in danger. However, seeing as this was the one thing in the world Sylas wanted the most, he finally relented and escorted him to the nearby Professor's Lab, where Sylas received his partner, a Cyndaquil named Agito.
Furious that they were still unallowed to own a Pokemon of their own, Sylas's brothers hatched a plan. After sneaking into their father's study, they burned several pictures of their late mother, who had passed when the boys were young. Sylas I treasured these pictures with his life, and never allowed anyone to touch them. Therefore, when he found the charred remains of her pictures, he immediately accused Sylas's fire Pokemon and flew into a rage, yelling at his son Sylas for the first time in his life. His finals words were that Agito would be returned to the professor first thing in the morning.
However, Sylas found that he had the most unusual bond with Agito, and could not bear to see him go. With that thought in mind, he gathered a few supplies, packed a small bag, and ran away from home, his only companion following closely at his heels.
RP Sample: Mordecai closed his eyes in pure bliss as the hot spring eased every ounce of strain and tension in his muscles. He had happened upon the pool by pure chance while traveling, and there was no way he was going to pass up such an opportunity.
"Y'know, Agito," Mordecai began, eyes still shut.
"You should hop in. The water's nice and warm." But Agito was indignant, and hated getting wet. He simply sat alongside the spring, enjoying the pleasantly humid atmosphere.
Mordecai shrugged.
"Suit yourself."Mordecai awoke from a short nap to the sound of giggling, to which his eyes shot open. It sounded like a group of girls, and they were headed his way. He glanced at Agito, who returned his fearful gaze with one of his own. Mordecai looked back and forth between his partner, and down into the water. Let's just say he didn't want his guests to stare at his birthday suit.
Cursing to himself, he hurriedly climbed out of the water, stark-naked, snatched his clothes, and dressed as he ran, with Agito laughing and running after him.
