Pokemon Lab

A quaint, ranch-style building perched atop of a hill serves as the regions starter lab. The place is generally pretty quiet from the outside, and it doesn't seem like much happens there. However, once you step in you'll be greeted with assistants running around, completing chores and whatnot. The professor of this lab is the slight crazy, but outstandingly smart Professor Wasabi.

Route 1

Route 1 is nothing more than a quiet little path that snakes through a very light forest. Large, beautiful oak and maple trees arc over the path, making the short walk an amazing sight to see during Fall and Spring time. Those who walk down the dirt path are welcomed by low level Normal, Grass, Bug, and Flying types.

Zaiken Town

A massive, bustling town who's buildings seem to pierce the heavens above. No matter what time of day it is, the roads and shops seem to constantly be filled with people and Pokemon. As you stroll through the town, you'll see a wide variety of Electric, Flying, Normal, and some Dark type Pokemon. This is also where your first Gym Battle will be. The gym leader, Kira, is the region's master of Fighting type Pokemon, so prepare accordingly.

Route 2

Be sure to pack plenty of supplies because the next town is pretty far away. Route 2 is a very straight forward path then cuts through flat, rocky land the slowly leads up to Mt. Shriek. You can expect to see a variety of Ground, Poison, and Fire types here.

Mt. Shriek

This torturous mountain is one of the most challenging places in the Sekin region. This seemingly never ending mountain is both very tall and very wide. Those who dare to walk on the outside of the mountain on a very thin trail will see many rare Flying, Rock, and Ice types are you approach the top. However, if you choose to walk inside the mountain, you'll be faced with Steel, Rock, Ground, Dragon, and Poison type Pokemon

Azum City

Those who had just scaled Mt. Shriek are thankful for this small, welcoming city that's located right along a gentle river. The town was given it's name due to the massive number of Azumarill that can be found there. Expect to see many Water and Grass types there. Though the city is known for it's Water type Pokemon, the Gym leader, West, specializes in Bug type Pokemon.

Route 3

This concrete path follows directly along the same gentle river that Azum City was built around. This is a popular jogging and biking path, and is usually pretty busy, though the Water, Fighting, Grass, and Bug type Pokemon don't seem to mind.

Triad City

Just as Route 3 turns away from the river and into a wide, open space of flatland, you walk into a medium sized city. The builds are tiny in comparison to Zaiken, but it's definitely larger than Azum. This city offers a unique range of Pokemon that have different forms, or their evolution tree branches (Such as Deerling, Ralts, and Eevee). The Gym leader, Veronica, uses Grass type Pokemon, so make sure you have a reliable Flying, Fire, or Ice type.

Turan Forest

This massive forest covers just over 20% of all of the Sekin region, so make sure you have a map before hiking through this dense patch of land. There is no definite path through the forest, just one trail that seems to lead to the other side of the forest. A wide variety of Pokemon ranging from Fire to Psychic and everything in between can be found here, so be sure to have lots of Pokeballs.

Nyath Town

Upon stepping into this time, many feel like they've stepped back in time. Every building here is made from wood, and hardly any technology exists here (except for the necessities in the Pokemon center). This dark and gloomy town is home to a massive amount of Dark and Ghost types, and some Poison types. The gym leader, Kane, uses Dark types, so be ready for any tricks he might have up his sleeves.

Route 4

This rocky path starts out in rocky terrain with no grass, but quickly grows colder and colder until you find yourself trudging through three feet of snow and battling against icy winds that constantly try to throw you off balance. Be prepared to find many Ice, Fighting, and some Ghost types here.

Icecilia City

How this small town survives the blistering snow amazes everyone who passes by it. This town, which is barely big enough to even have a gym is placed behind a large hill, so that it's protected from majority of the snow, is a great place for Trainer to stop and warm their hands before pushing through the icy wasteland. Speaking of avoiding Frost Bite, the gym leader here, Karin, has mastered the art of training Fire types.

Route 5

Finally.. You've pushed through Route 4 and Icecilia, and guess what you find? An open field of nothing. The grass is cut short, and there doesn't seem to be any trees, nor any signs of the next city for miles and miles. However, there is one good thing about this spacious land: It's abundant with baby Pokemon and other rare finds. Make sure you take your time crossing through here. Wouldn't want to miss out on the rare Pokemon.

Emis Town

The only thing that this massive town could be compared to is Zaiken Town. Though, not quiet as big, this huge city is pretty intimidating after being only in small towns for such a long time. It's good to be intimidated, though, because this town doesn't exactly have a good reputation. Sneaky Pokemon and even sneakier people call this dark city their home, so be sure to keep an eye on your belongings and Pokemon. The gym leader, Drake, is the most well known gym leader in the region, even though he doesn't have the last badge. His deadily and offensive approach with his Dragon type Pokemon makes him a formidable opponent.

Kimak Desert

From cold to hot, make sure you take your time walking into this desert so that your body doesn't freak out from the rapid change in temperature. Though the desert is relatively small, it's extreme heat makes it seem so much longer. Be prepared to get jumped back plenty of Ground, Rock, and some steel types here.

Leper Resort

Just as the desert changes in a more tropical location, you find yourself drawn to a town where music seems to always be playing. This town is probably the mostly lively place you'll come across. People always seem to be dancing and enjoying themselves, this also goes for the gym leader, Jazmin. Whenever she isn't battling, she's constantly out dancing with the crowd of people. Jazmin can even be seen dancing with her Electric type Pokemon.

Route 6

This zigzag path trails through a sparse forest. Rather than having tall, proud maple and oak trees, the trees along this path are more tropical and adapted to the warm temperatures. Many Flying, Grass, Bug, Electric, and Psychic type Pokemon are found living in and around the palm trees in this area.

Saydara City

Home of the eighth, and final gym, this proud town takes great pride in it's abundance of powerful trainers and wild Pokemon. Many trainers are itching for battling here, so simply making it to the gym proves to be a challenge in itself. However, once you get to the gym, you'll be greeted by an aging man with a few specs of gray hairs mixed into his dark hair. This quiet, well built man is the last thing that stands between you and being the strongest trainer in the Sekin Region. This gym leader, who goes by the name Jayden, uses a variety of Pokemon, so make sure you have a well balanced team.
